Dana K. Nelkin

Welcome to my web site.  I am an associate professor of philosophy at UCSD, and serve as the department’s faculty undergraduate advisor.  To this point, much of my research has been in moral psychology, which I think of as the intersection of ethics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of action.   In particular, I am working on a project exploring the nature of our attitudes concerning freedom and responsibility and developing a view about the conditions under which we can be free and responsible agents.  For links to my papers, please see my research page.

More on the way!
